GG50

Giorgetto Giugiaro, automotive design legend and scion of Italdesign, has created the Ferrari GG50, a present to himself marking his fifty years in the industry. The GG50 is approximately four inches shorter than the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, on which it is based. In place of the Scaglietti's conventional trunk, the GG50 has a hatchback, and its rear seat folds down, thanks to a redesigned fuel tank. So configured, the 17.7 cu ft of cargo volume is greater than a Toyota Camry's. There are no plans for the GG50 to go into production, but the Giugiaro clan plans to use the car, so watch for it on the streets of Turin, Italy.
