Gioachino Colombo was the man behind the first Ferrari, a 12 cylinder spider whose design became a House of Maranello classic. The 125 S took to the track in Rome on 25 may 1947, where it earned its first win on the occasion of the Rome GP at the "Circuito delle terme di Caracallo"
